Kokum Syrup recipe
Take 100 grams or 1 cup dried Kokum.
Add dried Kokum to a big bowl. Along with it, add 2 cups of hot water to it.

Once you have cooked the syrup for 8-10 minutes, you will see that the syrup will thicken a bit.
Use a sieve to strain this Kokum syrup nicely. After straining it, take it out in a bowl & cool it down nicely.
After completely cooled down, fill this Kokum syrup into a clean bottle or an air-tight container.
If you store it outside the refrigerator, it can easily stay good for 1-2 weeks or even more if your spoons or utensils are clean.
If you don’t want to take a chance and then store it in the refrigerator, it’ll easily last for 1-2 months.
But due to the hot summers, it’ll be used up much quicker.
